Huge sites, big rig friendly. Only down side is no sewer, and a tight dump station to get into. Also a few 12'6" bridges near by.
I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. It's new and has potential. The trees need to grow in for a few years and the Landscapers need a clue. They need to add sewer hookups to at least half the spaces and improve access to the dump station . That being said the facilities were nice. The staff was pleasant. And they had a Shuttle service to the park. They could learn from spending a week at Disney's Fort Wilderness. It's important to note that I was in the area to visit friends and family and that this was the best option for the Farmington Valley.
This is a W&E park only and part of a water amusement park. Garmin will not get you there. Sites are gravel and long. Electric was good but the water pressure was astronomical at a steady 86psi. Even the parks own back flow preventers could not handle the load. Ended up just adding water to my FWT and used the onboard pump. Only stayed overnight and did not use the dump. Shower room were clean but no commodes!!! Wonder where the shower drain goes?
Don't miss an hour of daylight at New England's cherished theme park. You can stay overnight at the all-new campground at Lake Compounce. **DISCOUNTED PARK ADMISSION TICKETS AVAILABLE TO CAMPERS & A SHORT WALK AWAY FROM THE AMUSEMENT PARK**
