We just bought a new travel trailer and before taking a major trip, we wanted to test the trailer under real wofld conditions. As there are few RV parks in the Seattle area, we did a search and felt Blue Sky would fill our needs. We arrived before the office closed and Beth greeted me. I paid the $80 for the two nights and was given a campground map. Note here; Blue Sky does not take debit or credit cards, cash or checks only. The campground appears to have many fulltimers living here but most of the rigs are newer. Pride of ownership shows in the park as most sites are clean as is the entire park. Like most RVers, the natives are very friendly. The campground is in a bit of a valley. Whoever engineered this did a great job. All sites are terraced. You look out one window of your rig and see under someone's rear bumper. Out the other side you see the upper half of the rig next door. Location is good with downtown Seattle just 25 minutes away and other freeways very nearby. If you ski, Snoqualmie Pass is just 30 minutes east. This park is very near I-90 but has a great natural buffer of trees to muffle the freeway noise. Despite what other reviews state, their is free wifi here and works marginally well. Cable TV is free but you will need ta cable box from the office that requires a $35 refundable deposit. Heading for Seattle? I think you will like Blue Sky.
no credit cards sites are narrow
Don't waste your time stopping at blue sky. New owners turned it into monthly.
