We stayed here on our way to Florida. It was so fun and relaxing that I almost wish we could have stayed longer.
Very, very clean. The owners and staff were exceedingly welcoming and kind. Plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained. The Camp Store was great! It even had a Disney Princess fishing pole! How do you even top that!

Friendly front desk staff! Nice park that seemed to be full of friendly campers! Clean restrooms. Good park WIFI. Not a lot of over air TV. Cable was temporarily down but will be back up. 4-5 bars Verizon LTE. $30/nite with military discount.

What a refreshing stop on our journey!
The campground is well tended, clean, and orderly. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked.
We felt safe.
Even though the camp was quite full there was an atmosphere of tranquility.
The only minor negative was some highway noise that seemed louder the closer you got to the lake, which would be expected.
We would stay here again.

New owners. Big rig friendly. FHU, 30-50 amp, free cable, free wi-fi (good). Gravel interior roads and gravel pull-thrus. Been coming here for 10 years and it's always been a good stop with friendly help.

So nice we came back! We stayed here on our way to Kentucky and came back on our way back north. The lake view is terrific! The staff is so helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Big rig iffy

Clean bathrooms, showers a little tight. Lots of trees with acorns falling constantly. A little tricky to maneuver a 40ft 5th wheel between the trees. Small steep grade at entrance that almost caused damage to truck and trailer. Noisy area from trailer park. Would not stay here again. Shorter unit would do fine. $36 w/Good Sam.

Hard to find - signs a little hard to see. Nice pull thru site with view of the lake. Level gravel site with no grass. Clean bath and showers. No pool.

I scored a great spot at the last minute. Rumor has it that I-70 is closed east of here. So, I found this place on RV Parky. Nice people, beautiful spot. I only needed 30 amp, I didn't mind backing in, and I'm on a budget. I would add a picture if I could.

We spent one night here. $40. Nice place under the trees. The noisy highway is very present in the distance. The good side is that it's super close to stores and shops.

Gravel wooded sites

Overnight stay has all the hookups you need. Good wifi. Sites are relatively level and staff guide you to site. Road leading to park is anything but smooth. Although in woods, turns are without low overhanging branches and sites are very approachable for big rigs.

Nice and quiet and super clean place. Stopped and stayed the night on the way to Branson. Everyone was nice and grounds was nice and level. Definitely will stop by anytime

A hidden gem

Wonderful campground. Shady, level, gravel lots, well spaced, quiet and peaceful. FHU pull throughs. Excellent bathrooms, cable was out but wifi was excellent. Private lake, which guests may freely fish. Lovely owners. Wash and wax service available on-site and bar/lounge for guests. Good Sams disc. Wonderful Amish communities within 50 miles for visiting. We camped in a fifth-wheel....and would return.

We stayed one night here but really enjoyed the campground. Large, easy access pull throughs that fit our 38' motor home and car on dolly. Very nice camp store and friendly staff. Easy 2 mile drive from highway. Playground for children. There was a lounge that served drinks and food and had video games and several tv's. Camgound on small, scenic lake.

Nice, quiet park even though quiet time was 10pm you never really heard any noise, we were across the road from the playground and even the kids were quiet.
Restrooms and showers were clean,staff was helpful,never seen it but was told city bus came to the gate and cab service was available.
Our campsite was level and a pull through which I think all sites are, our sight had a deck and a nice view of the lake.
We camped in a motorhome and are considering making g this a yearly trip

What a wonderful surprise that this RV park has its own cocktail lounge that opens daily at 3:00 PM. Domestic beers were $1.50 and the combo pizza was tasty. The pull through site easily accomodated our 38 ft. Class A and tow car. This RV park is in a quiet lakeside setting. The bathrooms and laundry are clean and well maintained. All office staff and cocktail lounge staff were polite, efficient, and welcoming.

Easy access off I-57 and what a lil hidden gem! Nestled in a corner on Lake Pauline. All sites are gravel pull thru, full hookup, and shady. Each has picnic table & fire pit. Cute camp store with a variety of item to choose from.. The park has a lounge that's open till 10pm serving limited menu, also has laundry & clean restrooms! Staff is SUPER SUPER friendly. Definitely should keep this 1 a secret but had to share!

Warning: don't follow GPS. I have a Garmin and DH has a Rand both were wrong. Take exit 162 from the junction of I 70 and 57 and turn right at the bottom of the ramp. Go to Rickelman Avenue turn left follow the signs to miles to the campground. Beautiful campground close to a body of water. Turns are tight but doable even when you don't drop. Good overnight spot close to Hwy 57 and 70.

We stayed here just one night as a stopover. I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff-very accommodating, peaceful... site was easy to level wIth just one block, wifi strong... only negatIve was the cable tv was a little fuzzy. Staff said they are working on upgrading it. They even have a cocktail lounge! Will definitely be back!

... we have stayed here about 3 time now and this is a very nice place to stay. The bathrooms are the nicest I have ever seen(although I rarely use them), it is close to shops in Effingham, well maintained, but some sites can be a challenge if you are in a big rig.

Some sites are a little hard navigating into but most are pull thru and a big rig will fit. Just do it slowly. Very friendly and welcoming people. Clean and well maintained park. Outside and inside (if your AC is off) you can here the Interstate. For an overnight a good stop.

We stopped overnight on a cross country trip. Just picked it off RV parky. What a gem! Staff is friendly, lake borders park, lots of trees, quiet. Spaces are a bit small, but they are staggered and angled, so you get a feeling of more privacy. Looks like they have kayak rentals. Nice little store, a lounge for the adults, and a playground for the kiddos, very clean. Laundry is even set up with an area rug and comfy chairs!!!!. Restaurants and grocery nearby. We wished we could have stayed a couple more days.

Just an overnight stop on my way to Montana. Called about an hour before the office closed and the lovely lady on the other end took care of me over the phone. Everything was just as she stated. Pull thru... full hook up... laundry. Will definitely stay here again Go to the left side (garden) of Walmart... you're 5 min away.. small sign on post at stop sign.. it's all lefts from there...
