Nice park with friendly owners sites were excellent and the rest of the facilities were nice. Rainey and cold would have been nice to enjoy the park. Cable tv and wifi worked Easy to get too, good prices on diesel at some of the stations. A recommendable park definitely.

| Nice overnight stay

Sites are close for double slide outs and moderately level. We did have to use blocks to level. Nice surroundings with flowers and bird feeders and trees. Gravel, pull through sites with paved roads. Bathrooms are old but clean and comfortable. Grassy mowed area for dog walking.

| Weekend in Tupelo, Ms

By user-5687191... on 2017-10-23.

I called the Campground of Barnes Crossing and reserved a campsite for a forty foot motorhome towing a Jeep Wrangler for two days. My husband and I enjoy meeting his sister and her husband in Tupelo for a meal and a family catch up session. When we arrived after lunch the office was closed with a noted posted on the glass with an emergency number. I called from my cell phone as we waited at the office. A man answered the phone and responded that he would come by the motorhome and collect later. After waiting for several hours, I walked up to the office and found a man behind the desk and a couple of people waiting until the man stopped texting to check in. After an extended period of time texting and looking at his phone the man behind the desk addressed the couple. The man asked for a one night site for their thirty one foot trailer. The man behind the desk responded that he would know if one was available after hearing from his text so he looked at me. He said I hope you have a reservation! I replied that I had called yesterday and made reservation for two nights. He did have a record of my reservation. I filled out the paperwork and gave him my credit card and my Good Sam card. The man behind the desk stated" We don't take credit cards ....only cash or check!" I replied that none of the ads for the campground state that the campground only takes cash or check...I happen to have an old wrinkled check stuffed in the back of my wallet so I paid with a check. I paid with a Good Sam discount for two nights $78.00. The campground has new wooden picnic tables but the facilities are cramped and need renovation. It's a tight squeeze for large units.
