| Good place to visit Quebec City

We pulled in without a reservation and they had several sites available in a small wooded area which had more shade and privacy than the open area where many long term RV's were parked. We had electricity and water for about $42 per night. The people in the main office were very friendly and helpful, especially in trying to speak English to compensate for my awful French! The park is clean and well-organized with rather small spaces. I can imagine in the summer it might seem crowded, but it was quiet and peaceful for us. WIFI is pretty good. The restrooms and showers are spacious and clean (a quarter for 3 minutes). There's a free shuttle at 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to take you to the ferry. We chose to drive there--about 15 minutes. It cost $8 per day to park and about $6.40 each for a round trip ticket to take the 10 minute ferry. It sure beats driving and searching for parking in the city! This is a nice convenient campground, and I would highly recommend it!

| Convenient site

Campsite easy to get to off highway. Good signage. We were parked next to the highway but the noise did not bother us. Loved the free shuttle to the ferry. Make sure you get a round trip ticket so that you do not have to line up on your return trip. Clean campsite although busy. Good for a couple of nights.

| A good site near Quebec City

We stayed here a week, which worked out to $43/night for a full-service 50-amp pull-thru. The sites are easy to get into and there is ample space between sites. The owner speaks English and he's very friendly and helpful. The park is clean and well maintained and even the seasonal sites are tidy and well kept. Our site was on the grass, with a good gravel bed, that held up well even with a heavy rainfall. Some sites are close to the highway but the noise was not bothersome inside our rig. Many of the RV parks in this area did not have 50-amp service, Camping Transit does. They also have a small cafe on site and will do caoch delivery of pizza. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends. Travel Tip: Travel to Quebec City using the Levis-Quebec Ferry. the campsite offers a free shuttle service for scheduled trips to the Levis/Quebec City Ferry Terminal. If you choose to drive to the ferry terminal (about 15 minutes), parking is available at the terminal for $6 per day. A one-way ferry trip is $3.85 per person. The ferry lands in Quebec City right beside Lower Old Town and 3 short blocks from the Funicular up to Upper Old Town and the Chateau Frontenac.
