Nice facility but all gravel roads and pull thrus. Very dusty and it was blowing 35 mph while we were there for 3 days. Very nice restrooms with private showers. Great staff BUT the free wifi is only on the main building. The lot boosters don't work at all.
This is a large, very well maintained KOA campground. The staff was very nice and helpful. The sites are very large and easily accessible from large/wide roadways. Gravel sites with grass between. Nice amenities if you are into using pool, basketball, meeting room etc. Downside is that this is some distance from Carlsbad and Carlsbad Caverns (about 45 min). There are closer RV parks, but not as nice/spacious.
Came here in a 42' 5th wheel and will come again if in the area. All spots are pull-thru's with gravel and FHU. Plenty of room from your neighbor and could stay hooked up to my truck if I wanted too. Nice little store and the facility's were clean and up to date. Could get a little dusty if windy, as the park is mostly made up of gravel. The only bad part of the park is it's located 20 miles North of Town and the wi-fi did not work well at your site.
Kick back with family and friends at this beautiful desert oasis built in 2000. This award-winning KOA is big rig friendly: All sites are huge 30/50-amp pull thrus with free Wi-Fi and free cable TV. The staff will spoil you as you enjoy the 2,000-square-foot community room, meals delivered to your site, a beautiful commercial laundry, outstanding restrooms, a fenced dog park and a heated pool. From this KOA in the heart of SE New Mexico, visit Carlsbad Caverns, Living Desert Zoo and Gardens State Park, Sitting Bull Falls Recreation Area, Roswell's International UFO Museum and White Sands National Monument. Check out the Robert H. Goddard rocket collection at the Roswell Museum and Art Center and the ""Billy the Kid"" history at the campground. A horse hotel also is available.
