This is a new, smaller campground next to I-70 at Chapman exit. Spacious, level sites are nicely landscaped with lots of new trees. Our RV group stayed here 3 days and enjoyed spacious mtg. room, spotless restrooms & showers, plus good WI-FI. Hosts were very hospitable, eager to meet all our needs. They promptly confirmed reservation by email even giving site#. Easy drive to attractions in Abilene & unique stores in Chapman. We definitely prefer this campground over the other one in the area.

Looking for a place to stay over night while crossing Kansas. This place is great. New, clean, right off interstate.
Bathroom are new and spotless!
Internet is fast and easy to connect to!
10/10 rating!
Got here at 10:00 PM and they came to meet me in person to make sure everything was good.
If you can't tell....I highly recommend this place.

Great place to stop.
By user-5889974... on 2017-10-23.
This is a new camp so won't show up in Google satellite pictures yet. They have both back in and pull through slots. They can handle big rigs and will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. Host is very friendly and they keep the park spotless. Small but very nice doggy run on upper level. WiFi is outstanding, among the best we have experienced across the country. They are in between Junction and Abilene so shopping and museums are close by. There is a nice cafe in Chapman and a small but well stocked store / food Co op as well. This park is nicer than what you can find in either Junction or Abilene. We strongly recommend them.

Meh
By user-5844253... on 2017-10-23.
Nice folks but... Bring your leveling blocks and lots of them. We used all our blocks and we were still way off level. The showers and bathrooms were clean but there was not a dressing room directly outside the shower. You have to go a few steps to a dressing room--just one is available. So bring a robe. And road noise...you can throw a rock and hit I-70.

Great overnight stop!
By user-4615451... on 2017-10-23.
Hosts live onsite and are ready to help. Book online, walk in, or use the self serve kiosk after hours (just like the website) to register. Gravel drive and lot, pretty level, young trees and a picnic table at each site. Clubhouse has a coffee pot and microwave for use, as well as laundry, bathrooms, showers, tv and board games. It's only about a year old but is still new and clean. Grass dog area and a clean playground for the kids. It's a great easy place to overnight while traveling I70. And a cute minion to great you!

A very nice and clean park. Brand new, so there were plenty of sites available. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. The camphosts live on the grounds and we also very nice and keep the clubhouse very clean. I would highly recommend this campground.

Meticulously clean, tidy & friendly!
By user-6150330... on 2017-10-23.
Everything the other 5 star reviews stated is correct. Just off I70 so very convenient. Julie & Dennis, park hosts, were exceptional! We were warmly greeted upon our evening arrival. They even went over the showers to make sure they were pristine and they certainly were! Dennis escorted us to our site & made sure we could get hooked up. In our 6000 mile excursion Julie & Dennis, plus the cleanliness, were a standout first! Many thanks!

Friendly and helpful hosts. Used showers on site, nice and super clean but no space to get dressed privately on the men’s side. Bit noisy with the freeway going by, but nothing the A/C doesn’t block out.

Stayed for second time in 3 years. Campground is very clean and well-cared for. Owners are courteous and very helpful. Close to I-70, but did not notice highway noise. Used a pull-through with full hookups. Site was fairly level, but needed one board on one side. Recommend you give this campground a try.

Near Abilene

This is a nice two-tier full gravel campground. While close to the Interstate for very easy access, the noise level was not an issue. All campsite utilities worked and the wifi was surprisingly good. There was open access to the SW sky for satellite reception. It was a short ten mile drive to Abilene to visit the Eisenhower Museum/Library (note, museum is closed for renovation) and the Seelye Mansion. This was a perfect place for my two night stay.

Very clean! 1-70 noise expected but we had our a/c on and enjoyed the pull through site in this small obviously new RV campground. Priced nice, wifi worked well! Would recommend and stay again. Could use a trash can and paper towels in the bathroom and a partition for coming out of the shower to dress (door to bathroom can open and you'd be flashing anyone in their common area) -would have given5 stars but gave 4 for this reason. Loved that they had a tiny fenced dog area!!!!

We were passing thru on our way to Colorado Springs. This was the perfect overnight stop. Great camp hosts. Excellent Wi-Fi. Right off I-70. There was even a dog park. We stayed in one of their pull through sites. The hookups were convenient, the site was level, and wide open for satellite. We travel a lot being full time and we are so grateful to find parks like this.

Dennis was very welcoming upon our arrival. He even tried to help us find another place to set up camp that wasn t so muddy- no luck!
The park is neat and two levels. Very close to I 70. Bathrooms were the nicest so far this trip! Clean, soaps and shampoo provided.
Sites have lots of gravel but with all the rain and snow pack melt there is mud everywhere. Wifi was terrific and so were the services.

A nice little RV park right off I-70. Check in was easy, that manager was helpful and nice, the site was easy to park in and the price was very reasonable. The park is a mix of backin, pull through and the parallel sites along one of the roads. The roads and sites are all gravel with small patches of grass surrounding the small trees between each site. The park has good wifi service, a clubhouse with a common room, showers and laundry facilities. They also have a small dog run.

What a GEM!!

We had reservations at a nearby KOA and were canceled due to flooding. The Chapman Creek Park was able to get us one of their 2 small rig spots at the last minute and we were thrilled with the accommodations.
The restrooms were the best we have seen on the road. Spotless!! And the clubhouse has games and is so inviting. There s a fenced area for pets and each spot has a little grassy spot outside.
We loved this park and will definitely stay again. Very professional communications and a great place! We were in the closest spot to the highway and the noise didn t seem a factor for us. We didn t notice it (we did have our air on all night).

Good size campground right off #I-70E. Owners very nice, friendly and accommodating. Fairly new campgrounds two levels with grass surrounding; gravel & leveled sites; very clean; there's young trees planted at each site along with grass patches . . in time it'll have lots of nice shade; picnic tables; nice clean showers with good hot water. Reasonable prices!! Would stay here again!!!

Nice park
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Very nice little park. Easy on and off. Very clean and nice grassy doggie park. Only con is the Wi-Fi. Surprised that a few reviewers thought it was good. We were there 3 nights and couldn't even check emails on the laptop. Would stay again if passing through. Enjoyed the town of Abilene which is a short drive away.

Small but Nice

Even after heavy rain the night before, the park was still dry. We will stay here again.
The space for motorhome with toad was more than adequate and firm enough to use jacks with no pads. Just a nice place to stay!
