Nice campground

Nice grassy campground. The train is noisy 5-6 times per day next to the campground.
Wifi is for checking mail.

Just “OK”

Dirt roads that didn’t drain well so had numerous, huge puddles to drive through. RV and tow car got filthy. Sites level, good grass areas.

Find another place if youre a bigger rig.

We have stayed here before with a shorter RV, but never again. First off they charge $47 for water & electric only. Roads and sites are very tight as is common with old campgrounds that haven't done any upgrades. We exited the campground as instructed by one owner who checked us in. The exit around the building is very tight between a wooden fence and a rock wall. While guiding my husband past the wall, I looked up to see a piece of rain gutter sticking out from the building with a little yellow "rent me" pendant hanging on it. It put an 8" scratch on our roof before I saw it. Three workers came out of the office and informed me that big rigs hit that all the time, including a 40' MH yesterday. I complained to the workers and a few minutes later "Mom" who just shrugged her shoulders and proceeded to tend to the hanging flowers. Another worker told me "that's what insurance is for". Not funny. Don't stay here!

Nice little KOA

Nice little campground with the KOA feel. Spaces are moderately spaced and most have some green space attached. Several nice trees and other small ones provide a bit of shade and atmosphere. Directions to this campground using my GPS were right on and the roads are good as well. There is no cable TV but the internet seems adequate and there are local stations in the Duluth area that you can pick up using your local antenna if that works well for you.

Very happy with the stay

Bathroom and laundry room super clean. $2.50 for washer & dryer $1.50 for 48 minutes. They had a free service to pump out your holdings tanks if you did not have full hookup at your site. We were able to stay longer because of that service. Train tracks behind the park. Occasional train horn no real issues with it. Pet area was fenced in and is away from the Rv parking spots. No water in pet area, bring a bowl and bottle water for the pets. Nice pool and game room for the kids. WiFi signal was not great. We used are mobile connections.
