This is a VERY nice, family owned campsite. We have stayed 2x in our motorhome overlooking lake out our front window. Clean showers, laundry. Kayaks to rent to go out on lake also. Lots large and flat

A Great Place to Stay

We have stayed here four times, each for a week. This is a family owned park with great people on the staff. There is a nice lake with pull thru sites overlooking the lake. There is shade, but easy satellite access. The park is just off I-57 for easy off and easy on. There is quick access to restaurants and shopping, as well as a Road Ranger/Pilot truck stop right at the interchange. A new WiFi system is being installed, and we had no problem with access. The access road is paved, but the sites are gravel and level! Restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. We stayed here each time in a class A motorhome.

This was one of the friendliest campgrounds I've stayed at in Illinois. After a hard days drive we pulled in without having reservations and were greeted with smiles from the owners.
They couldn't do enough to make our stay (overnight) memorable. Recommendations for shopping, eating etc. Our campsite full hook-up, pull through and shaded facing the lake was just what we needed. The four stars is because of the gravel pads and leveling (very little) needed. There is fishing allowed with no license required. Clean, well maintained grounds and restroom/showers. Pets welcomed. Free Wi-Fi included in campground fee ($30). We definitely will return and recommend D&W Lake RV Park, LLC

Friendly and quaint. Impressed by the friendliness of people here. A lovely pond to walk around. Grounds kept clean. Lots of grass and nice shade trees. Would definitely stay here again

We had a friendly welcome to this nice campground. A pull thru spot made for easy set up and then packing up the following morning. Great Lake to walk around and lots of trees for shade. We would use this place again

Very adequate CG with full hookups and although pull throughs have tight turns. Gravel lots relatively level and hookups designed for freezing temps. Staff very accommodating. 1 mile off
I-57 with truck stop on off ramp. Place making improvements.

We were traveling east on I74 and needed a full hookup campground with pull-thru site. Located just off I57 N (3 miles) this campground was an excellent stop. Very quiet, on a small lake, with wifi, level pull thru site. It was perfect, would stop here again. And priced right at $30.

We just bought a new camper and wanted someplace close to home to do the first trip of the year. It was very clean and well maintained. A little highway noise but after a bit I forgot about it. The owners were great and made us feel welcome. We will defiantly go back.

We drove our first rig back to Wisconsin. We decided to pull off near Champaign, IL and get some rest before headed out early the next morning. This was just the nicest place. Everything was unbelievably well kept and pretty. Nearly every site is a spacious pull through with your windshield facing a small pond. It was only two left turns off the highway. It was across the highway from a larger truck stop for easy fueling and a quick coffee on the way out. The owners were just simply the nicest people.

Matt the owner (third generation) was AMAZING! He even helps you park your rig. He’s got excellent customer service and even drove me down to the mailbox to mail my letters in the little golf cart. Very helpful with directions to local attractions and stores. Definitely will stay here again if we are in the area and I HIGHLY recommend the campground. Sites are spaced apart very nice and plenty of room to enjoy your stay. Oh and free wifi with good signal!

This is our second overnight stay. Last overnight was in March 2018. Snow was on the ground at that time. Bathroom were clean and decent. Will stay here again

Very friendly staff showed me to my site and helped me park my class a close to hookups. Wonderful view of the lake and a closed in area to let our fur baby run off some energy. We are under a tornado watch tonight so it might be a sleepless night for wife and I
