Three night stay!

Stayed 2014-04-16 to 2014-04-19
Awesome spot to drop trailer and go. Lots to do in the area, we just happened to be there for the first mountain bike race THE NW CUP. There were a lot of riders at the park and there was lots of room. Very clean, you will be able to enjoy the new laundry facilities as they were just finishing the landscape. The machines should be installed next week. Over all it is a very nice camp.

Family Friendly, Honest

Let us stay for free when new owner, David, realized they were overbooked. We dry camped there because we wanted to help and David gave us free electricty. Our son was adopted and David's sense of fair play was apparent. The wifi did not work. All other facilities were average.

Great place to stay and visit the nearby sights.

We stayed as a couple at the Elwah Dam RV Park a couple times this summer (2015) for a month at a time. We parked comfortably with a 44' motorhome and tow vehicle. It is a great place to use as a hub for exploring the area: Elwah Dam Reclamation area; Victoria, B.C.; Port Angeles; Dungeness Spit; Hurricane Ridge; Sequim; Sekiu, etc. The new owners are very personable, hard working and eager to make your stay memorable and comfortable. All the kids pitch in, as well, and are engaging. The restroom facilities are very clean and the laundry machines are in great shape. There is a loop trail just over 1/2 miles long through the woods around the outside perimeter of the park that I used for exercise. Even when full, the park is very quiet and peaceful. We definitely plan to return.

Very Chill
By user-6189031... on 2017-10-23.
A comfortable, pleasant park run by pretty relaxed people. The facilities are clean and well-tended. The showers are coin-op as are the laundry facilities. Wi-Fi is limited use, no downstreaming, and the connection is a bit spotty throughout the park. No T-mobile signal here, might be better on Verizon or AT&T? A couple decent walking trails are accessible from the park, including the Elwha Dam trail that takes you down to some very lovely views of the river. They are pretty pet friendly, the usual rules apply re: leashes and cleaning up after your dog (which is the respectful thing to do on any property!). After hours are nice and quiet, you can hear the frogs from the pond and that's about it. All in all, a very appealing location for a decent rate!

Great family run RV park!! Very relaxed and friendly. Close to the dam for a quick hike. Love their little gardens for everyone to share.

Excellent
By user-5907467... on 2018-05-17.
This is more a campground than an RV park which is wonderful! They accommodate RV’s and tents. Spacious spots, fire rings, picnic tables. Very quiet you can hear frogs at night. Owners daughter will watch your pet if you want to head up to the Olympic Park or Canada. Great location close to Port Angeles but remote enough to be in the woods. Would definitely stay again!

Great owners!
By user-6437159... on 2019-08-09.
The new owners are the best! They were kind and accommodating to our ever changing circumstances during our stay. A family emergency left me alone with our toddler for a few days and they made me feel like I wasn't alone and was, instead, with friends. I honestly can't say enough great things about them! The RV park, itself was such a delight! So many little touches, including a garden, short trail on site, and very nice HE laundry facilities. Further, there's access to the Elwha Dam site and Olympic Discovery Trail Adventure Route all by foot! It's a quick drive to Port Angeles and we used it as a base camp to go on a whale watching tour, visit Hurricane Ridge on Olympic National Park, and take a ferry to explore Victoria on Vancouver Island. I'd recommend it to anyone coming to the area!

Great RV park
By user-5701239... on 2019-08-09.
The staff is very helpful and nice. They recommended some great local hike information. We found things we would have missed otherwise. The only negative is that the pull through sites are very close together. If you are a lover of state and national parks there will be some culture shock with the tight spaces.

Stayed 2019-05-27 to 2019-05-28
traveling thru on Memorial Weekend, they had a back in space for one night, which worked perfect for us. Electric and water, quiet site, nice people, everything was good and would stay again if in the area.
