This was one of our favorite stops in Alaska. Sites are available right on the bay. Gorgeous views. You can see Eagles sea otters and many other species. Close to town. Great check in,nice office space with small convenience store and gifts. Stayed 4 days and wish it was longer. Make reservations if you want Waterfront site.
We passed the entrance because we couldn't find a sign to mark it and there appeared to be a driveway close to the office. We had to turn around and come back. We have watched everyone pass by and co.e back just as we did. The buildings are clean as can be. Sites are tight. TV reception could be better. Must have extra long sewer hose. The view is gorgeous!
Waterfront is worth the price. You can bike, walk or take a trolly to the harbor. Great fishing charters or water taxi tours are just minutes away. Really nice check in facility with an Expresso bar and laundry. You are going to love sitting by your fire on the bay. The view is priceless!
The only full hook-up park on the Homer Spit, located next to the "Fishing Hole". This is the place for a great Alaskan experience & first class camping by the sea. Come stay with us and see a once in a lifetime view. Sites have 20/30/50 amp power, city water and septic hookups, satellite TV and free WIFI. All amenities are included in the rate, not extras. All of the sites are designed to accomodate even the largest RV's with multiple slides. Big Rig friendly! Additional storage area on-site. Private 1/2 mile beach for beachcombing, paddle-boarding and clamming. Beachfront sites have campfire pits and all sites have picnic tables. Firewood, BBQ grill, putting green. Pets, ATV's and boats with trailers are welcome.
