| very nice campground
This appears to be a fairly new campground. Sites have plenty of space in between and some are even set in the trees, Ours was not but the site was level. Bathrooms and showers were super clean. Wifi was so so. I believe all the sites has full hookups. Soldotna is a great little town. Be sure and visit Moose on the Loose for some awesome donuts and pastries. I would stay here again if in the area.
| Loved Our Stay
We have been on our Alaska Adventure for 6 weeks. Klondike is the best RV park we've stayed. Clean, well-kept, wi-fi, friendly, and convenient to Sterling Hwy (and The Moose is Loose Bakery). We would definitely stay here again.
| Great RV Park
We stayed here 5 days and it's a lovely, clean, well-maintained park. Theowner and workers are wonderful. Actually ended up needing to extend our original 3 day reservation for 2 extra days. He gladly worked at keeping us on the same site so we didn't have to move. The sites are varying sizes, level, some with trees. Laundry is clean and the least expensive we've found in Alaska. Do go to Moose is Loose Bakery! And so drive to Homer and stop at Ninilchik Beach and Anchor Point. Eagles everywhere on the beach.

Klondike RV Park is located one block from the Kenai River, and only 5 minutes from downtown Soldotna in the Kenai Peninsula. The Kenai river is best known for the world record King Salmon caught by Les Anderson in 1985. Visit us between May and August for Kings Sockeye, pinks and Coho salmon fishing. This family owned and operated RV park has 35 RV sites all with full hookups and can accommodate big rigs up to 60 feet long with slide-outs (50 amp service available). A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation and the balance is due upon arrival. If you are traveling with friends they can stay in our fully equipped 4 person cottage with kitchen BBQ, freezer and washroom. No pets or smoking allowed in the rental cottage.
