Starting our return trip today, and sorry to leave. The staff went out their way to accommodate us and to even extend our stay at the last moment. The park is beautiful and well taken care of, the facilities r clean and the staff is friendly. The park is close (or as close as reasonable in a big city) to most anything u will want to do in the Seattle area, and I would most definitely stay here again.

Nice campground close to Seattle

We spent two nights here in a 40' fifth wheel and enjoyed our stay. We had a back-in spot but there was plenty of room to get into it. Our site backed up to a lovely little lake with lots of ducks. There was shrubbery on both sides of us so there was plenty of privacy. The location is very convenient, only a mile from highway 405 and about 20 miles from Seattle. We would have liked wifi but everything else was very satisfactory. We would definitely return. This campground is very popular so make reservations well in advance.

Nice place to stay for a few weeks. All sites are on the pond. Lots of wild life. Close to Seattle area. Sites are a little tight but room for slides and up to 45'.

This was our favorite campground!
By user-5570035... on 2017-10-23.
We stayed there for 2 nights and it was wonderful. The location is very beautiful, the parking lots are all around a little lake. The people at the office were very friendly. There were many ducks which was very funny. The restrooms were the cleanest we had on our journey! It is also very silent and no barking dogs ir crying kids like we had one night before:) You can get free WiFi every 24 hours for 1 hour. You can also buy for 4$ a day. It was just a nice place to stay! Greetings from switzerland:)

Closest to Seattle
By user-5061020... on 2017-10-23.
We chose this park as it was the closest to the Seattle area attractions. Not more then 45 minutes to Boeing, downtown Seattle etc. we had one of the spaces on the side of the pond. Very quiet park for how many RVs there. Only real noise is obnoxious frogs all through the night. Nice laundry room and $1 washer and driers. No monthly or weekly rates just daily $44 plus sales tax. Staff is very accommodating and will work at getting you a space. Grounds are well kept and clean.

Very good location, and very quiet

We will definitely come back next time we stay in the Seattle area. This place is tucked nice and quiet, right in the middle of town. Safeway and shopping is just a walk across the street, and walking distance from many fast food and sit-down restaurants. About 20 minute drive to downtown (Pike's, Space Needle, etc)

We loved this campground!

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we stayed in during our months on the road. As others have mentioned, the only drawback is their one-hour WiFi limit, and it's not very good, either. I just used the hot-spot on my iPhone. The grounds are lovely, with thick grass around the asphalt...lots of places to walk dogs, plus paths in the surrounding woods. The washer and dryer are only $1.00 each. Plus, they let you wash your vehicles on site!! I've never had that happen anywhere! Our RV and car were nasty, and we were thrilled to get them clean! The bathrooms are nice, too, and each unisex room is a complete bathroom. The showers are good and hot. We immediately booked them booked for the next two weekends!

Beautiful park
By user-4945827... on 2017-10-23.
Nice high bushes separating the spaces. Beautiful trees and pond with ducks. Looks like a lot of semi permanent residents. Silly speed limit of 8.5 mph. Map of park was highlighted in confusing manner, pay attention to the one way signs. We arrived after hours and were left all the necessary information.

Beauty isn’t everything

I agree with all the other posts that say it’s beautiful here and it is quiet however, we are in a 30 foot attic fox and it’s very tight in this space. We are in space 12 and it’s awe full. The slab is uneven and after using blocks to correct it our steps are 2 feet off the ground. We have to climb onto our steps to get in our trailer. We have a short legged dog that usually has no issues getting into the trailer but here we have to pick her up so she can get in.
More issues, 1. internet is almost null and that’s with a booster, my husband will have to go to a hotel today to work and I will be figuring out how we can get out of here and onto somewhere he can work from. 2. It’s a duck sanctuary and Geese are everywhere which lends to goose poop all over the grass around the lake so walking there is not an option unless you don’t mind poop on your shoes. 3. Staff were courteous but I wouldn’t say friendly. Business as usual. Didn’t even get a smile from anyone.
4. No internet with high rate and if you want internet you have to sign in and pay 12.95 a week or 4.00 a day. 5. It is pretty quiet considering it’s location but you can still hear highway noise. 6. No dog run.
Did not use laundry or bathroom facilities so your on your own there.
So while it’s a beautiful location, there is more to think about.

Update on previous review

We ended up staying longer due to lack of internet at our next planned site. If your lucky you will be greeted and helped by Vicky (Vicki) as she was so friendly, smiling, and willing to help. The next site we were moved to, 43, was more level but still uneven. It was also a pull through not a back in and all the sites around it seemed nice and an improvement over site 12 and our 1.5 foot step up to our bottom step. The internet didn’t work much better in our new site. You still have to pay for it and it is super slow. Cell service there is minimal. We thought it was because the park is in a bit of a bowl but it’s actually the hills surrounding it. You can drive on Bothell Everett HWY and have 4 Bars near the 405, but cross over the hill near country village and it drops to 2. So it’s not just the park. We were there in Dec and there are a lot of full time residents but also know there are many in summer too so book early if you want a spot. They are the best in visual appeal in the area and the location is a safe town however, they did have a break in to the laundry room a few months back but no trailer break ins. The laundry is $1.00 to wash and dry and the washer takes 30 min, the dryer 1 hour. I was able to use one dry for two loads. Just have to time it right. Several trails around the park that are nice and they did have what looked to be a dog run but it was just a long narrow fenced in area in tall weeds and mud but most likely would be dry in summer. There is a nice large playground with equipment but no kids this time of year. No pool and no swimming in the lake as it’s a wildlife preserve. Sorry it’s long but I hope it helps

Hateful Employees
By user-5498361... on 2018-05-17.
Yes this location is close to Seattle and it's very pretty BUT it's crazy expensive on the summer at $48/nite AND more importantly we encountered the most horrible and hateful people there. We will never go back there.

When looking for a park in or around Seattle that is even close to affordable, this was the only choice. It turned out to be a very nice park. Very clean and tidy. All sites are centered around the lake and the landscaping is good so that you feel like you have a little privacy even though the sites are pretty close together. The park is convenient to the highway and shopping. The utilities are all the way to the back of the RV. You'll need plenty of sewer hose. Our site was a little short, but not too bad. There was parking across the street which eased the parking situation. Roads and sites are asphalt with grass and trees between each site. Verizon cell signal was good - we didn't use the wifi. All in all a pretty nice place. We'd stay there again.

Best way to go in the area

Very nice RV Park. Stayed 6 nights. Hard working employees were constantly keeping up with everything and were very nice. Had a problem leveling on the pad. Pad next to us was resurfaced (asphalt) during our stay. Perhaps ours was leveled after we left. Would stay again without hesitation.

Sightseeing Seattle
By user-4681075... on 2019-08-09.
I called the night before to see about a spot, spoke with them the next morning and got a spot for that day. They were so organized, they emailed a confirmation and spot #, we were able to check in early. Beautiful grounds around a lake, private spots separated by hedges, helpful staff. Wi-fi worked, clean individual bathroom/showers. We traveled w/ 3 teens, 35 ft RV w/tow car, no complaints. Need to disconnect tow car at office, some tight corners.

After visiting Seattle, we were so happy to return to our site at Lake Pleasant. It was clean, quiet, family and dog friendly. All it was missing was a pool.
