Perfect for us
By user-5825668... on 2017-10-23.
This campground was the perfect Basecamp for us this past week. The location was easy access to all the area has to offer. The sites we're not huge and there aren't many amenities, but it was perfect for us.
Bonus: the wifi was strong

Fantastic views if the lake! Large spacious sites and many are pull through. Lots of trees and staff was very friendly! Would stay here again!

Mostly weeds that needed to be mowed was what site looked like. Not very level which is always an issue for Class A coaches. Wifi was NON existent. Said it was a brand new system and her son was working on it. After seven days you would think the owner would have figured out her son was clueless. No apologies and every day was same response......son is working on it. Got old. All hookups were adequate. Sites are very close together. Did not use bathrooms so cannot comment.
View to lake was OK but only a select few front row spots can really see much. Would probably stay south of the bridge on any future visit.
This one lost me with the lack of concern or sense of urgency with the wifi. Just not good customer service.

Just fine
By user-6481222... on 2017-10-23.
We had a superb view of Lake Michigan from our spot in the front row. The hookups were conveniently located and in good working order. The wifi was strong enough for streaming films. There weren't a ton of other amenities but we didn't care. A big storm came through and knocked out power and the owner kept us posted until power was restored.

Wonderful view of Lake Michigan and closest campground in the UP to the bridge. Campground has spacious lots, great water, fantastic internet, received 30 plus stations on camper's HD antenna, had a full Verizon cell phone signal. We are minutes from the ferry services from St. Ignace. Karen, the owner, runs a clean and quiet campground. I would recommend this place as #1 on my list for future stays!

Great campground with super friendly staff. Bring lots of electricity cord along unless you are a motorhome. The water front sites were made for motorhomes ( drive in ) trailers and 5vers have to back in making the electricity far from the post. BUT no problems at the pull thru. Comming back again.

Great view of Lake Mich if you get a lake view site. Our site was 2nd row barely width of RV. Couldn't put out awning.
Walked across Road to get to Lake Michigan nice view of Sunset although barely view of half a bridge. Reserve ahead for best spot. We stayed here in a 27 ft trailer.

Small Park with a View
By user-5328266... on 2019-08-09.
This is a gem of a small park with a gorgeous view of the strait. Watched a sunset from the park beach across the street. Great owners, strong WiFi, awesome water pressure, clean restrooms, and plenty of room to maneuver big 5th wheels or MH. Owners are very helpful regarding local businesses and restaurants. We will definitely stay again if we are in this area.

This is a very nice campground with a private beach across the street with a beautiful view of the bridge and lake. The bath house was clean. The location is great with easy access to St Ignace and the ferry. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative is that the spots are very close to each other.

Your big rig will fit in several spaces here with full hook ups. On a bluff, a few front row sites have a nice view of the waterfront. Clean bathhouse, friendly owners, quiet-no trains. Gravel roads, grassy sites, some shade trees that are trimmed. Access to the lake beach. Some sites are fairly close together. Thought our neighbors awning was going to hit us, but it came very close. Would stay here again.
