Not for the "Big Rig"
By user-6263071... on 2017-10-23.

Close to downtown, construction made access tough beyond the control of park management. The park is very small and lots to close. If you have a three (3) or four (4) slider or a 40'+ with tag axle you will find three point turns needed here due to small turn radius of roads. Restrooms are private and roomy for the full bodied person. Internet is strong, yet slight slow.

Ok for a night but not a vacation
By user-5867544... on 2017-10-23.
All concrete, very little grass, downtown next to train tracks. Bathrooms were clean. An ok place to stop for the night before continuing on to your final destination.

Don't bother/ not big rig friendly!
By user-5345536... on 2017-10-23.
First of all, we are full timets and have been traveling for 3+ years and have never payed so much and stayed somewhere like this! First, don't follow the GPS directions they'll try to take you under a bridge that is 10' so most RV's especially our 42' 5th wheel won't fit and you have to turn around on very narrow streets in a possible "sketchy" neighborhood we had to call to get directions from the office, not their fault the GPS took us that way but it still warrants being mentioned. Second, the sites and roads are very narrow and difficult to navigate. Thirdly, we couldn't let out our living room slide because of the neighboring site's power box being in the way, when we told the office they said they could try to move us but all the pull through sites were like that and did not offer any kind of refund, for almost $47.00 a night you'd think you would be able to let out your main slide out. Lastly, it appears to be in a not so great neighborhood as well. Unfortunately, at the time, it was the only place that had a spot available or we definitely would have gone somewhere else. Stayed 1 night and will definitely not be back.

Not a great place to stay. Lousy location in an industrial area. Easy drive to Louisville. Tight spaces. Level and paved. Bath houses not great. Very expensive but your only choices are here or way south in a KOA in Louisville. I would not recommend this place. Why Louisville does not have a campgrounds is not clear. Stay clear of this place unless you have to be in Louisville.

Quiet given location
By user-5888355... on 2017-10-23.
Despite the proximity to the hustle and bustle of Louisville, the park was quiet. The ladies working the office/gas station convenience store were friendly and helpful. Nice play area if you have kids with you. Dog walking and path across from KOA. Clean bathrooms and park. Stayed 4 days.

Watch the directions. Not a KOA anymore

Ok for a stopover. Paved pads with wifi and cable. Nice people. Good for a one night stay.

Tight Spaces, Great Internet
By user-5829631... on 2018-03-14.
Stayed 2017-11-03 to 2017-11-05
When we first arrived, one of the gas station attendants came out and guided us to our site. The sites are Very tight spaces. I was concerned our slide out was going to hit the neighbors' awning, so I asked to be moved to a different site. That site offered just enough space to park my truck alongside my camper. The water pressure was very high (75 PSI) and I was made to buy a regulator. Internet access was great. Close access to the river walk and bridge that crosses over to Louisville. We rode our bike to downtown Louisville in 20 minutes. Not recommended for the inexperienced driver. Very tight spaces. Not KOA anymore. Expensive.

TRAINS ALL NIGHT
By user-5924707... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-10-03 to 2018-10-08
First off, trains all night long. Like on the map image where the trees are, is the train track. I m a heavy sleeper and it sounded like the train was going to crash into our camper. We had a pull thru. Staff is very nice, nice laundry and close proximity to Louisville. The site was so close, I could lean against our neighbors camper while sitting at the picnic table.... I hate to rate poorly but...

I wish I could post a pic of what I woke up to in the morning my white car had so much mud on it I couldn t drive it or get into the car with out mud getting on me or the inside of my car the least this campground could have done was pay for a car wash

Not so good-Tight and noisy
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-09-13 to 2018-09-14
Although the owners were friendly and helpful, the spaces are very tight. It wasn't too bad for us as we only have a 26 foot trailer with no slide-outs, but I would stay clear if you have a big rig or slide-outs on both sides. The very close train ran loudly several times at night . We will definitely not go back.
By user-5242761... on 2019-08-09.
We stayed the night passing through. Staff was nice but could not get over the campground. It is literally a parking lot. Pretty tight area. They claimed the had a spot to walk your dog which was a 2 foot by 20 foot strip of grass.

Decent Park

We stopped in for the night with a 70 rig and the staff was happy to accommodate us and friendly. No pool. Would stay there again.
