No hot water
By user-6063973... on 2017-10-23.

Park is ok. We arrived on a busy holiday. Nice staff. I like a hot shower in the morning but the showers are tiny, only 1 hook and no hot water in spite of letting the water run for 5 min. Would not stay here again.

Good time
By user-5780891... on 2017-10-23.
People were the friendliest I've yet to encounter. After a storm they had the place back in order in no time. My dog was treated as a member of the family. Awesome dog park. Showers real clean. The only bad thing I can say is the sites are unlevel. All in all a very Mt Pleasant place. Hah!
By user-6264646... on 2017-10-23.
Overall not bad. Showers were dirty with spiders and ants. Asked for sewer said they were booked however the 3 days we were there no one ever used them.
Met some really good guys from Washington state & Oregon camping besIde us.

New Years trip

Came for new years and to see Charleston. Historic district about 10 mi away down hwy 17. Park seems a way away from town but located near a Walmart and outlet shops. Park was pricey but nice and clean. Staff friendly and helpful will even lead you to your site and help. Trash pickup daily. Plenty for kids to do and there is a dog park.

Very nice park. Lots for kids to do. There is a playland next door. Very clean and quiet. Excellent place except thought 72 dollars for a pull through for just an overnight stop was a little steep.

Great Park

We have a blast stayed for 6 nights while visiting Charleston. We had a deluxe patio site. It was well maintained and clean. The bathhouses were clean and the sites were spacious. The pool looked a little dirty but I really think that was just age and not a matter of maintaining. We will go again

Rip Off
By user-5861797... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed a week at $72 per night with KOA discount. They assured us it was big rig friendly with full 50amp hookups. 50amp is outdated and may run two a/c units if you are lucky, low hanging branches everywhere, and if you want a relative to visit for dinner get ready to pay up. No matter if they use facilities or not everyone pays $8 plus tax for coming onto property. Sites are gravel/dirt. We have stayed in much nicer costal city CGs for half this price. Won t be back.

What a Campground Should Be
By user-5286121... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed here three weeks in February to March. Very nice, friendly helpful staff met us at the office. Escorted to our site by another friendly helpful staff member who ensured I knew where all hookups were and assisted me with positioning the rig. Large level gravel site with a grassy area, picnic table and fire pit. Two trees for shade. The park is very large with a private lake full of bass and sunfish as well as turtles and shore birds. Grounds are immaculate with staff working almost every day. Huge dog park with fencing that extends into the lake to allow dogs to swim without worrying about alligators. Nice tent camping area. They have a hiking trail through the forest and swamp area that is great for walking, running or biking. Free wagon rides through the neighbouring plantation three times a week. Excellent store. Propane for sale. Close to all necessary shopping, fuel and historic sites and beautiful downtown Charleston. I'll probably regret my enthusiasm but this is one of the best KOA's we have visited. This is our third stay, and we will be back.

Lake is nice and plenty amenities. Pool could grow some, kinda small. Gravel sites but some nice views of the lake. Lots of places around to shop and visit. Plantation was a nice surprise.

So many great things to .say! Level sites, lots of room, extremely well maintained, nice large dog park, lots of walking trails, bike rentals. Very friendly staff. Good wifi. my husband and I both worked fulltime without any issues.Very close proximity to all that Charleston has to offer. Beach is close by. We were there for 2 weeks and could have easily stayed longer! We are in a 38' TT.

Nice Place
By user-5000071... on 2019-08-09.
We stayed here about 4 years ago and recently was talking about going again but this time, staying in one of the cabins by the lake. Nice place, plenty of walking trails, clean and friendly.
