| Really nice campsite

Only stayed here one night but had a very good time. The staff are all really nice and friendly. The bath houses were clean and had strong, hot showers. The fact that there's pizza, wine & coffee on site is great. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that overnight there's a fair amount of road noise from the nearby highway which meant bad to keep van windows closed overnight.

Stayed only one night in Nov 2016 but had never seen a KOA with a Pizza & Wings menu made on site, a full espresso bar that opens at 7:00 AM, and best of all, nightly wine tasting from several local wineries! The sites are level gravel of varying sizes and widths; strong wifi. Only issue was the interstate noise -- despite being heavily forested it was much louder than anticipated, and its the I-95 so it remains constant. Would stay again for a night though, just for the uniqueness.

Shaded sites. Pizza on site was good. Our site wasn't level. Bath house only has 2 showers in women's area. Good for an over night stay. Close to the interstate.

A good overnight stay with friendly & attentive staff! My main gripe was tht the womens showerhesds were like only 5 feet high...ridiculous...seriously people...????? Ridiculous...!!! We did have a Huntbrothers pizza from there & it wasn't half bad, the wings on the other hand...not so great! If they would update those bathrooms it would be great!!!

| Our first RV sleepover

I came across this park through a quick search of RV Parky. Its our first trip with our coach. This place is quaint tucked in a mature environment off I95 just southwest of Charleston. The people are very friendly and the area offers a lot of outdoor adventures. We arrived late after driving for hours so it was nice to walk around and stretch it out. The part is very dog friendly but the enclosed leash off area was very small. It would be great if it was bigger. The multi use club house general store showers were nice. No complaints there. Incredible they had a wine tasting event plus pizza ovens. It has been a very pleasant experience for our first sleepover.

Very nice facilities... Just stopped over night but did go to the wine bar and enjoyed a very nice pizza. Very nicely located to take in area sites... Will return. We stayed in a 5tg wheel. Easy in and out.

We love this KOA! Nice sites, amazing staff, and wine tastings every night! Pizza was pretty good too.

| Disappointed..not worth the price

Very small KOA campgepind. The staff are very friendly and the camp is kept in very meticulous order. Therein lies one of the problems. We took a long walk on Monday around the pond on the outskirts of this camp and were gone for about 2 hours. Since it was a nice day we left the windows of our rig pen. We came back to find a layer of dirt on all of our inside surfaces as well as on the outside of our newly washed rig. The staff here use powerful leaf blowers on a daily basis to get the leaves out of the camp sites. I understand that they want to make it look nice for campers but I was pretty upset when I had to clean the inside of my rig from top to bottom because of all the dirt due to the leaf blowers. My other disappointment concerns the cost of this campsite. At $57 per night (this includes the 10% discount) one would expect more as far as privacy and things to do. There's no private site available and you are pretty much on top of each other. I wanted to enjoy our 7-night stay because I had heard good reviews but we were both disappointed and will not return.

Got in here to overnight while getting away from Hurricane Florence. Glad they took us but highly disappointed at the rate. Paid $50 even after our KOA membership discount and a $10 reward we had earned. Place pretty deserted and they have all the picnic tables turned over and patio furniture removed coz of hurricane coming. Also, is right on I95 and there is road noise (but not terrible). We did get a pull thru with FHU. Gravel, a little grass, fire pit and potted plant on a 5 x5 cement patio (this is where the bistro sized table and chairs would go). Nicely shaded. Staff very nice.

Wonderful people and a great park. We were there for only one night on the way to Florida but would have stayed longer if schedule permitted.

Great small campground close to I-95. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms are nice. They have some really cool rental units.

| Small has its benefits!

This is the smallest campground we have stayed at but the staff and management and park were outstanding and a pleasant surprise. Pluses: Level sites, office/store open 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Coffee house!!!, Wine tasting of mostly regional wines, beer flights, very friendly staff, Pizza and wings prepared on site and delivered to your campsite or eat in at the coffee house, shaded lots. Minuses: sites are typical of KOAs and very close to each other. No patio at our site, just a table on the grass/mud - nothing an outdoor rug/mat couldn t fix but it s been a very rainy winter and the ground is pretty saturated.

| An admin error to deal with, but ok overall

First, let me say we prefer KOAs and their general consistency. Also all the KOA personnel I interacted with at this campground were VERY nice. I made a reservation for a full-hookup pull thru on-line about 2 weeks prior. But when I checked in they had me in a tiny non-pull thru, way down the driveway (not even in the main campground) that was impossible for our rig. They moved me to another site, but the only thing they could give me was a back-in (not a problem) but without sewer. Since it was only for 1 night I said I didn't mind. However later I went back to the office to make sure I didn't pay for the FHU pull-thru. The clerk showed me where they had automatically given me a $1.86 discount. A $1.86 on a $60 daily rate!!?? That's a slap in the face - not an incentive to return in the future after my inconvenience for their error!! On a positive note, they have a "bar" in the evenings with craft beer and wine flights which somewhat offset the dissapointments of my site problems . Would I go back? Perhaps, but I'll look for other options first.

This place is overpriced. All gravel sites. When I was there mud holes were everywhere including the dog walk which was swamp. Tried using the bath house in the middle of the night and the lights were out could not turn them on. Had to use the flashlight to take a shower. Mud was all over the floor although the sinks were clean and the radio was playing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Got a 12in cardboard pizza on premise for 11 dollars. In a pinch better than traveling for food.

We stopped for one night on the way home from Florida. Sites were gravel and level. Very nice workers. Has pool, pizza and beer and wine tasting. Nice clean restrooms. Showers were large but only 2 for the entire campground so there was a line of people in the morning. Less than 70 a night for a pull through site. We would stay again
