Stayed here for 8 days. Wide open sites, laundry and bathhouse small but ok. Pool ok nice put put golf. Nice and quiet most lots level, pea gravel with grass between sites. No cable TV reception ok wifi not good. Half of the sites are shaded.

You don't even have to leave the campground
By user-5819537... on 2017-10-23.
Very clean, very nice facilities. They offer Tents for Troops sites. Close to Rushmore, large dog park, putt-putt, nature trail, heated pool, play ground. Great for kids. Within walking distance of the petting zoo.

Not a bad place but way over priced

Very nice and pet friendly
By user-5906718... on 2017-10-23.
This place is very convenient to all the attraction and we really appreciated the enclosed large off leash dog area, where our furry campers could work off some energy! Friendly staff, just a bit more expensive than probably needed to be, but no complaints about the park.

Big Rig Unfreindly!
By user-5306750... on 2017-10-23.
Wanted to book a site for a week for our 45' class A. We require 50 amp power, especially with 90+ temperatures. These folks wanted a 50% Non-refundable deposit to book the reservation. However, they would not guarantee 50 amp service even with an advanced reservation. I explained that I would not be able to stay there if the power was 30 amp. I asked what would happen if that happened? They said the deposit was non-refundable. " It is our Policy!"
Best advice - go somewhere with reasonable business practices. Obviously not here.

Staff is very friendly, lots of nice sites, restrooms are clean and water is hot. Well maintained. Lots to do in the area.

This is a really nice place to stay. The spaces were wide, long, and level. It's easy access to all the attractions in the area, from The Badlands to the Black Hills. The staff was extremely helpful, polite, and treated us as part of the family. The facility was well maintained and clean.

Nice place but...

Was not level enough for our 45 ft RV and Internet was slow. Expecting better for the price. They did have lots of amenities for family activity.

Expensive but nice

We booked 2 nights here because of it's close proximity to Mount Rushmore. I was surprised to be charged the full rate of $70/day plus tax due to the park being at about 25% capacity and features such as the pool being closed. We came to see Mount Rushmore but the weather didn't cooperate, it started snowing and raining with thick fog for 4 days. We decided to wait out the weather and were going to move down the road a few miles to a less expensive park. My wife called the front desk and asked for a "inclement weather stay extension deal". The management offered us 3 more nights for $42 total if we agreed to sit through a 90 minute sales presentation. I'm sure they knew we had no interest in buying into their pre-paid vacation package but allowed us to sit in for the discounted additional 3 nights. We actually enjoyed the presentation giving us something more to do while waiting for the fog to lift. The park is secure with the gate closing a 5PM with guests having a access code. Level site with nice grassy areas in between. Fenced dog area large enough to toss a frisbee for our Lab. Expensive if you're not one of their members but a really nice park with friendly staff.

Beautiful RV Resort

Beautiful Coast to Coast RV Resort. Centrally located between Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and many more attractions. The grounds were pristine. Will definitely return.
