Weekend stay
By user-6432074... on 2017-10-23.
We had a great weekend stay at Shamrock Campground. Walked along the river, chatted with fellow campers, played horseshoes, rode our bikes.....totally enjoyable time! Drove to Berrien Springs.....nice clean town! Thank you to managers for keeping the grounds and bathrooms clean!!

One of the few parks that are open in the winter and this area. The full hookup sites are all taken but we do have 30 amp electricity. The restrooms and showers are clean and offer long hot showers. Near the front of the park are private bathrooms that include a shower toilet and sink. My wife and I enjoyed them a lot. Towards the back of the park the restrooms and showers are for either men or women. There is a place for washing dishes at the back Pavilion.

Very well maintained park along the St. Joseph river. The wifi has been improved and is great. We have a FHU PT site that was long enough for our 32 ft. MH, tow dolly and car. Our site is approximately 40 ft. wide, so plenty of elbow room. Wash/shower rooms are spotless with plenty of hot water. Roads are asphalt and sites are level and graveled. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 was because there is no pool/hot tub.
Berrien Springs is a nice little town just north of Notre Dame University and approx. 12 miles off of I 94. Very nice manager and staff.
