By user-4622553... on 2017-10-23.
Spent 2 nights after being on the road for 5 days. Spent some quiet time at the pool before a woman came in with 5 loud kids. Staff wad very nice and leads you to your site. We will definitely return if in the area.

Quiet, but muddy
By user-5802540... on 2017-10-23.
It was quiet and had nice staff, but the sites were a bit muddy and the crush and run (gravel with concrete) was soupy. Other than that, it's a quick place to stop overnight.

Location: Sioux City North KOA in North Sioux City, South Dakota
Note: When you ask for the wifi password tell them how many devices you have. You will need a separate code for each device. Cookie factory across the HWY, smells amazing (and tortuous)!
Cost: we choose the $44 per night without membership for the water and electric only site. Dump on site.
Dates Stayed: June 10-June 12, 2015
Atmosphere: Quite a few permanent residents, but all are nice. Highway noise and rare train noise but not as bad as some places I have stayed. Slept great both nights.
Type of spots: many types of spots to choose from, top price is pull through with Full Hook Up up to 50amp. Level gravel pull through spots with 30/50 amp fire ring and picnic table.
Laundry: Yes. $2.00 wash/$1.50 dry. Rules say no clothes lines for safety. I have a clothes rack on my ladder. They saw me hanging it there and no one said no, so they must really mean the line that someone can walk into:)
Shower House: Yes, very clean and spacious!
# of pools: 1
# of hot tubs: 0
Dog park: Yes
Activities: Playground, little tot playground, basketball hoop, volleyball net, frisbee golf (2 goals), ping pong, jumping pillow, 18 hole mini golf, bikes you can rent and heated pool.
Wifi/cable: free and strong wifi / no Cable, but Antenna signal was strong.
Exercise room: no

Just a stop
By user-5073987... on 2017-10-23.
Good just for an overnight stop. No complaints about the staff but the park is not so well maintained. The sites were dirt and gravel with holes and mud. And worst of all, there was a funky smell in the air. Whether it was sewer or something else, it makes the park less desirable.

Very nice KOA we thought. We stayed 1 night while passing through. Easy access to interstate. It was great for the grandson with the pool, putt-putt, bouncy thing, and playground. All of these are free. There are trike rentals for $5 for 30 min. Road noise when outside the RV, but none inside. WiFi worked well most of the time, but slowed down some at night. Lots of cable channels. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Escort to site. Level, FHU, 50 amp,pull-thru site. There is an off-leash dog park. Rates are for 2 people, so we paid $4.50 per extra person as we had 3 adults and 1 child.
We would stay here again. We stayed in a MH.
