| Will stay again!

Great place. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff. The owner escorted us back to our site and was very helpful. Even though we didn't use the bath house, it was very clean and neat. The facilities in general were good. Pool was in decent shape as well. My only disappointment was that they had a kitchen where they baked pizzas and wings, but they close it at 6:45pm. Come on, isn't that pretty much dinner time? Oh well, it wasn't a big deal. We will certainly be back.

Only stayed here for a short overnight, so didn't have a chance to check on all the amenities. However, we got a nice escort to our very level site. It was very quiet and we got a pizza delivered to our door!

| Perfect for children

Extremely clean, good walking trail (well maintained), very nice/clean swimming pool, putt putt golf, playground. Our grandkids loved feeding the goats and chicken.

Had a pleasant stay here- clean - good wifi . A good place for kids with the activities - if you are in a big rig - ask for the sites with no trees for satellite - Bill and Judy very friendly and represents the owners and KOA well. Pet friendly - - nice dog run.

Stayed here for 3 nights while exploring Cowpens and Kings Mountain National sites. Escorted to site, nice long pull through. Lotz of large pine trees. Didn't use laundry or restroom. Easy access to interstate. Stayed in a 34 foot 5th wheel.

| Excellent Overnight Stay

Super welcoming staff. This was just an overnight stop, but it was everything we needed. Very clean restrooms and shower, almost level pull through gravel spot so we didn’t have to unhook, and a very quiet night. Highly recommend the campground. (Knocked off one star due to having to use a couple of LEGO blocks under the right side wheels to get level. Also cable channels were all snowy, over the air was fine.)

Respect policy and enforcement of driving through park but delivery sucked. You are trespassing and need to leave. Could have said noticed driving around can I help you.

This is a really nice KOA with a very friendly and helpful staff. Nice sites with a choice of shade or sun, and some really nice deluxe, paved, pull-thru s, with lots of amenities and a nice little camp store which also sells pizza and wings that they will deliver to your site.. Shopping and restaurants are nearby. Easy on and off the highway.

This was our first stay at a KOA and they well exceeded our expectations. The staff there are great and really make you feel welcome. This was a great stay while we visited the Greenville, SC area. I would highly recommend this campground.

Stayed for an overnight. Put us on a slopped dirt pad. When we left in the early am ,their were plenty of level gravel sites. Lots of interstate noise.

| TIght maneuvering for large RVs

Easy, friendly check-in. The putt putt course is in need of some maintenance. There is a small but clean looking pool. This is obviously an old campground. Winding, narrow interior roads with trees. We were glad to be led to our site! Our site was also very narrow, and we had to dodge trees on both sides with toad attached. When we left, we ended up in the grass on one turn as couldn t make it otherwise. There are oddly placed rocks and other obstacles. There is fair space between sites. The sites are gravel/dirt although the premium ones are paved. Directv worked in our site but wouldn t in a lot due to trees. The WII FI was a no go so we resorted to using our hot spots. It is quiet at night. Typical pricey KOA that isn t worth the money.

| Nice KOA

When we first started camping about 7 years ago this was our favorite place to camp. Clean, friendly and a great pool. We could request a spot and when we arrived we had our spot. But the last time we stayed we anticipated the spot we requested but were moved to another spot which was disappointing. Especially when we are bringing our dogs and anticipate having a nice grassy area for them to chill out with us at the site. Very nice campground and activities on the weekends.

| KOA should never charge for wifi

Park is nice, access to I85 is simple. The IRS a free wifi but it has severe limitations. The problem I have with this park is $10 a day for wifi. You can get a week for less than 10 per day but we're not here that long. We have paid 3 per day before but TEN DOLLARS per day for wifi amounts to theft.

Our campground is located in the beautiful upstate region surrounded by farms and green rolling hills. The area offers history, arts, crafts, food, nature, and family fun. Cowpens may be a small town, but this small town has a lot to offer. If you are a history buff, visit the Cowpens National Battlefield, site of the pivotal battle of the American Revolution, as well as King's Mountain Military Park. We have natural grown fruits and vegetables, in season. Enjoy a leisurely walk on our hiking trail and then stop by to see our goats and chickens as you retire for the evening. For all of you Food Network fans, we are also located near two stops from the famous show, Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Harold's Restaurant, which is famous for their Meatball chili burger. The Beacon, is famously known for the Chili Cheese of Plenty. Be sure to come by, fill your tummies and then hop over to us for some rest and relaxation. Charlotte and Asheville (home of the BILTMORE), NC is also only an hour away from the campground, so, don't get stuck in the hustle and bustle of the city life.?Our long pull-thru sites with 50-amp availability make us truly Big-Rig friendly.
