Nice but our site was too close to neighbor

This is a nice park. Pretty much grass sites with gravel roads. Nice trees and the shower/bathroom facilities seemed in decent shape. The only reason we decided to stay one night vs. a week is how close our site was to our neighbor. It was literally two feet apart with our slides out due to where they located the services and had us back in while the other camper pulled through. Besides that they have a great playground for the kids.

Stay one night while on the run from hurricane Irma. They were not turning any evacuees away. Gave us a discount. Beautiful park with tons of amenities. The staff was top notch and we highly appreciate their concern and caring. Thank you

Local Secret (Chehaw)

My wife and I stayed here in August 2014. We wanted to stay near our route north with a pull through campsite. This was perfect.
We checked in and was designated a campsite. When we got close to the site we knew we couldn't pull straight in without hitting a tree. Fortunately a Camp host told us to pick another site and he would go back to the office and let them know. Problem solved.
We walked around the campground and enjoyed the quietness and friendliness of folks we passed along the way. Surprisingly it was not crowded. Good rates and good campsites. We will stay here again when we pass this way.

We only stayed here overnight but we plan to return. I can see how some campsites can have road noise as some have only a tree line between them and the highway. Our site was further away and quiet. We had a pull-thru sight with sewer at a very reasonable rate under $30. There are lots of wide open spaces, a great playground, lake and a wildlife zoo (extra $) in the park. Wonderfully maintained park and sites. Highly recommend

Just another beautiful campground cloaked in urban noise pollution. When is RVPARKY gonna add noise pollution layer to filter out all these Noisy campground with no peace and quiet right beside major highway?

Always clean and quiet. Never crowded. Large kids play area and even a zoo....nice Christmas light show and train rides

Pleasant surprise

We had just bought our RV and have family in the area so decided to stop here for a couple nights to visit. The park personnel were very friendly and the park is very clean. We had our 1 year old Grandson with us, the animal park and playground were a huge bonus! I will definitely return here everytime we come thru to visit family.

We only stayed one nite but it's a beautiful park and very nice ladies in office to handle ck in. Wish we could have stayed a few more days

True lost gem. Some sites are tight but others have plenty of room. Very peaceful and we'll cared full. Has a great kids play ground and a zoo with in walking distance. Shower house is a bit dated but clean. Great staff. Will stay again. Easy in and out.

Nice quiet park. Good restroom facilities. Wish we had time to play a round of disc golf while we were there. Course looked rad!

Stuff for kids, but that's it

Activities for kids is only reason we come back (BMX track, playground, water feature & frisbee golf). Bathhouse is neglected & sad. There appear to be many full timers, plus fencing for their yappy dogs. The full timers take up the sewer sites (which I understand), therefore never available.

Nice park. A few trees. Great for families as there's a lot to do. Splash pad, zoo, RC course, small BMX track and playground. Will come back again. The zoo still has some hurricane damage.
