Very nice wooded park

This park is a bit back from the main road, but if you read reviews of other parks in the area this is worth it. Anything near the river gets both traffic as well as railroad noise. Do not be alarmed when your GPS takes you further back in the woods. You will be grateful to be this far back from the main road. The sites stair step up the hill. With that and the trees and shrubs between them, they seem fairly private. It was not very full when we were there though, and the adjacent sites were empty. For those of us with Tiny Trailers it is a fairly long and steep trek to the rest room, but they are clean and well tended. We called the morning of our stay and easily got a space but be careful. One of the high seasons in this area is when the salmon are running, so beware that they shortly expected to be full in late April during the run. I would stay again. This is a good jumping off point to explore the Gorge, Hood River, and the Merryhill Art Museum. Don. Sacramento

Wonderful campground

This is in a rustic area 3 miles up the hill from the Columbia River. It's owned and managed by a young couple who go out of their way to make sure that all is OK. There are some full hook up sites and some tent sites as well as a playground for children. We stayed 4 nights in our travel trailer. We would definitely stay here again.

Out of the traffic and noise

We heard about this campground fron friends and enjoy it as they did. Spots are level, have pravicy and well maintained. It's a short drive up the hill from the gorge on the Columbia River. Owners are a young family seeking a rewarding lifestyle for their children, lots of camping experience and are very hard workers. We'll be back!

Great RV Park

This park is so nice. The spots are wooded and not like a parking lot at all. This is the kind of place I imagined RV camping should be like. Even though the park is somewhat hilly, the spots are very level and so nice. Many of the spots have full hookups. We were here on some week days and it is quiet and comfortable. I'm not sure how they do it, but the park is like manicured, and so well taken care of, but it feels rural and like you are in the woods. No cable TV and no antenna TV, but the wifi is darn good. Better then most of the places we have been. It is a bit off the main path but a nice place to come back too after you have been running around the Columbia Gorge.

This campground is head and shoulders above the others in the area. The owners will go above and beyond to make anything right. If you want to see the falls of the area this is the best spot to be as you will miss the train noise. This is my new favorite campground!

Very friendly, gave us a lot of tips what to do, it is also away from the trains. You also get money off Rafting and a lot of other things.

Nice quiet little park

Nice shade in a quiet area off the main road. We enjoy this park for the atmosphere and serenity. Nice separate areas for both tent campers and RVs. Nice shaded dog area and a little playground for the children.

Ok campground, steep hard to get into sites. Your either backing downhill or uphill into a site. Portapotties, pay showers. Very close together sites. WiFi would not stay connected. Pricey for what you get.

Nice park away from the Train noise down by river.

We stayed in site 18 right next to the office, a bit too tight together in that only flat area of the campground The rest of the campground is truly out in the woods. Kind of steep going on those sites but they are nice campsites really make you feel like you are away from it all. It was a bit odd to have to pay to use the showers, and they were a quarter for 1.5 minutes, and you had to get out of the shower and walk across the bathroom to put another quarter in. I would stay there again as I liked how quiet it was up there.

Favorite campground of all! Been traveling for eight days, camping every night. This was by far my favorite! Gorgeous, quiet, secluded site in the woods. Super friendly owners and staff. Perfect accommodations for my small travel trailer. I am definitely going back again!

We had spot 18. At first we were worried it was going to be noisy right at the entrance but it wasn t at all. It became our favorite site. Close to the playground but still secluded with trees. The staff is so friendly and

What a pleasure to stay here. The RV park was quiet, clean, and wooded. Owners made you feel welcomed and were very helpful. The camp host was also very friendly. Lots to do in this area and it is truly beautiful. We plan to return at some point. Thank you for a great stay!
