Late at night.... Called ahead.. Do you have pull thrus yes.... Nope not at all..current full price $18 for a night parking.. No pull thrus, no wifi, no sewer, no assistance getting into back in space at night... Way too much money for what you get... Will finish this review tomorrow.. Did not give me a map of the camp was told pick out a spot.

It doesn't suck!

From the camp host to the camp spot: loved it! Friendly, helpful host I'm sorry I don't remember his name. Beautiful sight on the river. We were below the dam. Loved listening to the water while drifting off to sleep. It's below the freeway but didn't notice traffic noise. Campsite was clean. Nice covered picnic table. ( we didn't use restrooms ).

Scenic, clean, quiet
By user-5847775... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2017-08-21 to 2017-08-24
Very scenic park on the beautiful Arkansas river. Sites are paved but some are very sloped. Bathrooms cleaned every day. Would definitely stay here again

Would be 5 stars if had sewer hookups, and, if the tug boats wouldn't sound off their horns at all hours of the night keeping you awake. Other than that, nice campground.

Great Find

Stayed 2018-04-17 to 2018-04-18
It sits on the Arkansas River Hwy. Getting there took os over a long bridge then a hard right (if you end up in the gas station you missed the 2nd hard right) but it is worth the drive. The trees are huge and the sites are large. It is $18 a night. The best sleep I've had on this trip. The host is very friendly. It doesn't get much better.

Hidden gem
By user-6255207... on 2018-05-17.
This is a great little campground. I paid $10 a night with my America The Beautiful discount. No sewer but it has a dump station.
My site, right on the banks of the Arkansas river, has a nice level asphalt pad, covered picnic table, water and a fire pit. A convenience store is just outside the gate if you need basic food items.

Nice Park
By user-6196650... on 2018-05-17.
The man checking in wasn't helpful. Pulled off without reservations asked if anything was available. He said D1, go check it out if you want it come back and pay....well D1 had a camper in it. Had to drive back with trailer in tow and let him know D1 had a trailer but D 11 and D12 were empty. He said ok, D 11. The price shown on here is incorrect. It is 18.00 a night with water and ele hookup. Big lots, nice overlooking the park.

Great Little Haven

Natl Parks Pass = 50% disc. Loops A,B & C are for reservations, Loop D is walkups, a dozen or so back-in level gravel sites away from the water, picnic tables, mature shade trees. Clean, Spacious, Single occupant baths with toidy and shower. Rufus the friendly manager gave us the scoop how Toad Suck got its name.
