It was a decent place to stay. Didn't have hookups because all the full hookup sites looked like they were occupied with full time residents. It was well maintained and quiet. All in all, it was a good place to stay a night, but that's about the max I would like to stay.

Just right for us

We are traveling and looking for a place to park near Seattle. This sweet little park is just 5 minutes from a 20 min bus ride onto the heart of the city. For $35 a night we could not have done better. Pretty lake view and good facilities. Lots are small with no privacy but there is the lake and many playthings for kids. Suzi could not have been more helpful. What a peach she is!

Susie und ihr Mann Walt kümmern sich sehr gut um ihre Gäste. Helfen gern, wenn es um das Entdecken von Seattle gehen.
Gut zu erreichen über die I-90. Kommen gern wieder!

Very clean bath rooms! The best WIFI I have ever had at a camp site! Great place for kids that like to swim! Lots of ducks wondering around the place.

This place is just a grassy parking lot. We would never stay here again and this is honestly the first park I can say that about.

The only good thing about this place is it's location to Seattle. No sewer, no wifi, 15 amp service only. $37/night for a parking space. By the way, gate to the park is always closed. You must call ahead so they will let you in. Very hazardous coming and going.

This park is busy, and a great place for kids. On beautiful Lake Sammamish, swimming with life guards, merry go rounds and play area. They have a boot ramp, sites are close, not many trees, so need your awning when it's warm.
This is not a wilderness area park, it's a park that has been here for longer then my lifetime
Now surrounded by high end homes. I believe it is owned by The Swedish Club, and is easy to access from I 90, I 405, and I 5.
My grandkids had a blast, and want to go back.

what a unique place. as it is the 'off season' they only had one full hookup site available. owner guided us via his golf cart and was very helpful getting us situated, pouring down rain at the time. this was a last minute choice for us as the state campground we were aiming for was closed for camping, in spite of being listed as open.
the entire park like setting was spotless, grounds and bathrooms. there is clearly quite a bit of owner ship pride put into keeping this unique operation this way.
lots of boats stored under what appear to be summertime shelters, interesting. nice boat ramp and i must assume locals pay a fee for accessing this ramp and launching.
this was a good time for us to check this out but i doubt i would return in the warmer months as i can just imagine the chaos on this site because of the water access to boats zooming here and there. somehow i get the impression this is a local treasure and probably heavily used by local folks during the summer months.

Loved being lakefront and we were lucky enough to score a full hookup site. Had a lot more space compared to the partial hook ups. Arrived on a weekend and the park was full of kids and company parties a bit chaotic. Once the park closed to the public it was very peaceful. Only negative would be the shower issue. The women s shower was broken so there was only one family shower to use for the entire park. Unfortunately I had to wait 30 mins for the person prior to finish. Shower is also for pay $.25 for 5 minutes which isn t awful but after paying $50 you think it would include a shower. Overall had a nice stay and would return to a full hook up spot!
