We stayed here for one night and we're very pleased with the campground and the facilities. Very clean and well looked after. Easy access from Hwy 1.
Based on the previous review, we reserved this campground for an overnighter on our way back east. When we pulled in, on a Saturday afternoon, we were not aware that the campsites were smack in the middle of the town s recreational facility. Hence, a lot of adolescents hanging about and no other campers on site. Needless to say, as senior citizens, we didn t have a good feel, especially with Saturday night approaching. After checking out the washroom facilities, which were poor to say the least, we quickly exited and headed east another 130 kms to the Aspen Grove Campground just outside of Oak Lake, Manitoba. Heaven, in comparison. Perhaps, on a weekday, this campground would have been okay for an overnighter, for the brave of heart.
We stayed there in June 2019, just a stop over mid week, nice spot, it is in the middle of the town rec-complexs (swimming pool, base ball diamonds) no games the night we were there may get a little noisy.
